Nigeria’s House of Representatives members have decided to donate all of their two months salaries to the nation to fight the pandemic coronavirus.
the speaker of the house of representatives Femi Gbajabiamila said that the House of Representatives jointly committed in contributing 100 per cent of our salaries for the next two months to the fight against COVID-19 in Nigeria,
He further said the donation will be to “support the provision for the welfare of the frontline medical professionals and health workers and other interventions to provide for the well-being of Nigerians through this trying times of coronavirus.
It was reported that this offer we start from march 31 to April 30, that this two months salaries of the 360 members will be offer to the fight against covid-19.
