The favourite club to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi in the summer has been revealed.
According to French publication L’Equipe on Wednesday, Major League Soccer (MLS) club, Inter Miami have been given a major boost in their bold attempt to sign Messi, with the Argentina captain unsure about staying in Paris.
Messi’s current contract with PSG will expire at the end of the season in May.
Talks have been held about extending Messi’s contract at PSG.
But the World Cup winner is growing increasingly unsure about staying in France beyond this season and Inter Miami are in pole position to sign him.
Inter Miami is owned by Manchester United legend David Beckham and coached by his former teammate Phil Neville
The report added that Messi’s family like the idea of living in the United States as the former Barcelona captain has a home in Miami and is known to regularly holiday there.
Messi is married to his childhood sweetheart, Antonela Roccuzzo and they have had three sons together.
