Schools in New York state will stay close for the rest of the academic year, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Friday.
The governor said, "we don't think is possible to open schools for now, in a way that would keep our children and student and Educators safe," He told reporters.
The city closed its public schools on march 15 because of the spread of the deadly virus (covid-19) in the state.
Is now left for people to start organising online classes and leaving families to arrange home schooling.
