On Thursday, the Edo State government announces the ban of street trading across the state, trying to restrict movement and social distancing in the state.
It was reported, that the spread of coronavirus in the state which unfortunately hits 15 confirmed cases so far.
The state health commissioner, Patric Okundia announced that the state will commence screening for residents in the state, which indicates 10 centres in oredo local government area in the state.
Further more, He said that government have put in place screening centres across the state, including six primary healthcare centres and four private hospitals to actualise plans to screen 500,000 persons.
