The ICPC has set up an independent to monitor the expenditures from the covid-19 funds.
A spokesperson the anti graft agency, Mrs Rasheedat Okoduwa said that, the ICPC set up the covid-19 funds monitoring team to with hold any means of corruption according to the constitution.
According to her, the team is to prevent possible financial abuses that may arise in the management of the funds.
further more, she said that, the team would monitor the disbursement and utilisations of funds, donations and others in the country.
She also said that, this new team,would work to compliment the effort of the presidential task force for covid-19.
In conclusion Mrs Rasheedat Okoduwa asures Nigerians to fight against corruption in the covid-19 raising funds by the ICPC.
